  My family, friends, and colleagues have been going to Dr. Ramos for the last several years. He is the best dentist in town and one of the best I have ever been to. Not only is he a great dentist; he is honest, ethical, kind, patient, and an all around stand up guy. Blakeney Dental was lucky to have such a wonderful person on their team. Recently I showed up for my appointment and was told that "the owners very abruptly let him go as a business decision" , which seemed odd to me. Prior to my apt I received the normal automated voicemail, email, and text message reminding me of my apt with Dr. Ramos. Not once did I receive a phone call letting me know I would be not seeing him.The manager claimed she had been calling patients to inform them. I was never informed. I have an 8 month child and I had to pay a sitter to watch him in order to go to this apt. Once I arrived, I told the front desk person I had an apt with Dr. Ramos but all she was concerned about was if I had insurance or not. Once I answered she said, "well just to let you know, you will not be seeing Dr. Ramos, he is no longer with us since last week" and her and the manager tried to convince me to stay and see the new dentist. I told them this was very unprofessional of them to inform me this way and not prior to my appointment. It was very inconvenient and costly to pay someone to take care of my son. Dr. Ramos is my dentist and I will be loyal to him. It is hard to find a good and trustworthy dentist. I will find out where Dr. Ramos is practicing and my family and referrals will no longer be going to such an unethical and unprofessional office. The whole situation was inappropriately handled. It seems to me that at Blakeney Dental, all they care about is money, not patient care. DO NOT GO HERE!

  Blakeney Dental is one of the best dental practices in Blakeney. The staff and doctor is the most professional experience I have ever had. From the moment I called to make an appointment, to visiting the practice. The practice is so clean and very professional. If you want a place to call home, go to Blakeney dental.
