  This the worst place to rent in Charlotte! They don't have proper staffing, no maintenance people, the elevators wont work, the vallet trash don't pick up the trash for several weeks, the toilet breaks, the bathroom door wont lock, there are cracks on the bath room tiles already, no pet friendly as there is no provision to dispose pet waste even if walk them around the building. I am just waiting to find another place to move ASAP so please don't waste your time and money by renting this place just for this flashy new painted walls because I made that mistake and now I regret like a hell.
  
  My nightmare started from the day I moved in, all the elevators were working perfectly when I came in for a tour but they stopped both elevators the day I moved and told me that there was some mechanical issue going (remember this is a brand new building) on so I had to leave all my things in the parking garage as I really couldn't carry them all the way to the 6th floor but after I told them that I am going to file a law suit I received a message within few minutes that the elevator is all working fine but initially they said they don't know when it will be fixed, and it didn't stop with that as a proof that things can only get worst here, yesterday I lost my keys so called them around 6.30 pm and even after 1 hour I didn't see anyone coming in to help me out, and they still didn't have any status on what time they will come in even after 2 hours, and the 3 different people I spoke to had no idea what has been done so far to get me inside my apartment.After seeing me struggling with this whole thing one of the residents called them in order to help me out and as a response they said they were unable to reach out to the property manager so there is no more of the "Technician" story but they still didn't give a timeline on what time I can get in my apartment, this is 2 hours after I made the first call so I have been waiting outside and my 13 old dog locked inside my apartment with no food or able to potty after I left her home the whole day. When the other resident asked them to forward the call to the supervisor they put her on hold for several minutes and they still didn't give a status on what's really going on. The attitude of the staffs threw me off as they were so negligent and rude in their response. The weirdest part is they asked for my email address to the other resident so she asked them why they need an email address where the issue is an emergency, and she and I had to be on the call for almost an hour. The thing here is this is an emergency and this is not summer, and I had a dog locked inside my apartment the whole day but they never called any "Technician" even after an hour because they told us that they are trying to reach out the property manager after she pressed them hard. So the whole time they were lying about calling a technician. I think they don't have such "Technicians" to help us out in an emergency so end up calling the police as I couldn't hire anyone as the lock is a smart lock, finally the assistant manager came in right when the police was about to leave (obviously police didn't help me with that) and made a key for me. I rented a one bedroom apartment so I was given only 1 key and they asked me to pay 75 extra for another key but I believe other residents were given 2 pairs of keys. Overall this apartment is unfit to live in with all that money you are paying every month so overall this is a place where you don't want to be staying for even few months. I really tried my best to be patient not to give any feedback even after all this happened as I didn't want to hurt their sales but as a resident I can only tell you that you are getting into hell if you are renting here so be wise in your decision and stay away from this place as I know for sure there are better places to live in and around Charlotte than this apartment.
