  Decent. The location and staff were great. The ambience is both welcoming and appealing. I had a serious issue with the food. Ordered shrimp tacos and soon realized they had not deshelled them all. It was simply an accident on the kitchens part but they handled it so poorly. I’m an avid supporter of black businesses and went to them humbly to say be careful about shelling as it is a choking hazard. I returned the food but told them to keep the money and I didn’t need another order as I know it was more work for them. The chef told me to my face that it was just a little shell from the tail and it was not a big deal. It is actually really dangerous to eat a boiled shrimp shell. Fried is fine but boiled becomes a thin piece of plastic film that can be lodged in the esophagus. I had actually choked at my table but I didn’t want to be dramatic as I know they work hard to keep the establishment running. I was pretty disheartened as he just walked away with an attitude and no apology. I didn’t want my money back or even another order just quick reassurance they would be careful. He dismissed my friend and I. I try my best to go all out for my own but literally pulled an entire shell from my throat at a table and was dismissed as if we had not just paid $45.00. Well, they do not have to worry about myself returning or the tens of thousands of subscribers to the vlog I run. The building was amazing though and much respect to the owner.
