  This is my and my husbands first time renting since we have been married, and my first time ever to rent a property. We sold our home last year and weren't sure what we wanted to do so we decided to rent for a year. I thought I set up auto debit for our rent from the very beginning (as it is a requirement) but ended up with a late fee after the first months rent was not paid on time. I made the payment and thought that the late fee had been paid as well... It had not. when I spoke to progress the first time I got the customer service center in Arizona (if you want to call it that) they were so incredibly rude I was shaking mad by the time I got off the phone and still had not received any help with my concerns for the fees assessed to my account. I finally got in touch with our local Property Administrator for our area a few days later and she was very helpful. She answered all of my questions and explained all of the fees. Even though I still do not agree with them I understand what they were for and was informed that if I could prove we had insurance in our name and utilities switched to our name in the allotted time those fees would be removed. I sent the paperwork and was told it would be forwarded to the correct department to get things corrected. I was also told that the late fee (from the first month we lived there) and the fees from the other things would not increase if not paid by the first of this month. I did not plan to make a payment of those fees until the ones that should not have been assessed were corrected. I have now received an ADDITIONAL late fee on top of the original as well as additional fees for not having insurance and so on. which has doubled what it was that I owed last month. I HAVE Insurance and I have sent proof along with proof of my utilities being in my name in time. I have now sent our Administrator an e-mail as well as left her a voice mail to call me as soon as possible as they are now saying that they will start the eviction process the middle of the month. (MY RENT IS PAID)!!!!!!! I appreciate the help I received from our admin but things are still not correct!! We will see if it gets corrected.
