  When I visited for my 8 weeks old vaccination, front desk asked me to pay $150 balance before they give me further service. When I asked for what date / service is that due from, they had no direct answer. I also told them that I never ever received any bill from them, but they still wanted me to pay them right there. The discussion went on for 5-8 mins as they were trying to search for the services /date of service.
  Then I logged into my insurance website and saw that they had charged $150 from previous visit and my insurance paid them $95 and the claim was settled and my due was $ 0.00. I even had the EOB saying that my due is $0. When I told them that about it, they changed their tone and were like " the billing dept person is on vacation" and they will give me a call once they are in.
  Most surprising part was, they said that wont give further service until I pay the balance! Not sure if that was legal/appropriate, but that disappointed me.
  
  Having said this, the doctors here are awesome, kids love them and they provide great service, but the staff needs to improve.
