  Dr. Shandera has impressive medical credentials. I have been misled by several doctors with regard to my kidneys! I came to my doctor appointment prepared with a list of questions I wanted to ask, and test results I had kept from other urologists I had seen in the past. Dr. Shandera was extremely professional, friendly and very easy to chat with. He sat with me and thoroughly explained everything to me with regard to my medical reports I showed him. The office was super busy, yet Dr Shandera did not rush me through my appointment with him. He was very kind and pleasant. One urologist I had previously seen at another clinic, said I needed to have a cystoscopy, I elected not to have the procedure done, and to get a second opinion. After looking at all of my records, Dr Shandera said I made a good decision not to have the procedure done because there was no need for it! Obviously, that doctor at the other clinic just wanted to make more money doing an expensive unnecessary procedure! Plus, he never took time to listen to my concerns with my health! Another urologist at another clinic, diagnosed me with calciuria about 8 years ago...too much protein in urine. Showed Dr Shandera those test results too, and he said I did not have calciuria, and he explained those test results to me! I was left to ask, "How could two other urologist be so wrong"...but they were! I believe in second opions! But the big reveal is when you go to a doctor, and they don't answer all of your questions, and rush you through the appointment, it's then time to seek another doctor who shows interest in YOUR health. Dr Shandera did show that interest! I highly recommend Dr Shandera if you are having any problems with your kidneys! Dr Shandera's recommendation for me was to drink LOTS of water to flush out some crystals I had in my kidney before they form into kidney stones!
