  This apartment complex is like a little hidden secret. There's about four, three story buildings, directly across from the police department. Nestled between Independence Blvd and Randolph Rd (which just happens to have beautiful mansions). Wendover Apartments all have two bedrooms and two full size bathrooms, fireplace, washer and dryer connections & dishwasher. Still in the $800 per month price range. It also has a gated area with BBQ grills, to cookout.
  
  It's an old unit and needs a few upgrades but ultimately it's still a very nice place to live. It's very quiet and cozy, with few kids.
  
  Cons: no playground for the kids, it has the steepest steps I've ever seen at a complex, the pond has dried out and now over grown with weeds & we've noticed a few ROACHES.
  
  They've just recently changed management, so let's see if they'll do anything better then before.
